Application procedure
Application procedure:
- You may email your application documents for initial evaluation to apply.inb@th-mannheim.de. Our INB support team will give advice and check eligibility for you.
- Go to https://campus.hs-mannheim.de/ and switch to English language with country icon in right bottom corner on front page of the Campusportal.
- Register your personal details in the portal to generate your application account.
Important: Write your surname and first name(s) exactly as indicated in your passport. Indicate your full and correct postal address with postal code to ensure that official documents from Technische Hochschule Mannheim can reach you by post. - Prepare your documents: produce pdf scans of max. 5 MB per document.
- Create an application for Bachelor International Engineering.
- Upload all necessary application documents.
- Submit your complete online application before the end of our application deadline.
We recommend to submit the application as soon as possible to ease visa and housing procedures.

University entrance qualification Check whether your school qualifications can lead to direct access to our INB program or whether you would need additional academic experience or additional tests to be eligible to apply with us. Check here.
English language skills needed Proof of sufficient English language skills is one of the admission prerequisites (TOEFL minimum 88 (iBT); IELTS minimum 6.5; OTE minimum 130).
German language skills German language skills are not mandatory for admission. We recommend German level A2 for a good start in Germany.
Application deadline Your complete application must be uploaded by 15th Nov. We recommend to submit the application as soon as possible to ease visa and housing procedures.
You cannot submit an application unless it is complete Please note that due to university admission regulations we cannot consider an application unless it is complete. Our application portal will guide you through the process. Make sure you submit your final application and do not leave it in draft status.
Multitude of applications each year Due to the multitude of applications we receive each year, and as the number of students to be admitted is restricted, applicants should have a very good school-leaving certificate or university transcript. You may apply for first semester only, access to higher semesters can not be granted.
Summer semester only The International Engineering Bachelor program starts beginning of March with a two-week welcome and culture program in parallel to intensive German training.
Age We highly recommend that you are at least 18 years old when you start your studies. Everyday business, such as opening a bank account or renting a room, is very difficult for underage people.
